State to Audit Shelter!

Nassau County Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli is conducting a complete audit of the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter (TOHAS).  This is a great victory for all animal lovers and taxpayers who have been wondering where the shelter's $7.4 million budget has been going.
